Chair Yoga: Neck Stretches To Do NOW

Got a sore neck from sitting a desk all day? Or you’re just like me and carry all your stress and tension in your shoulders? Pop a squat and take a few minutes to go through these stretches to feel better RIGHT NOW.

All it takes is 5-10 minutes of these simple moves to start feeling better now. I’d also recommend standing up to take a gentle stroll or stretch out your whole body periodically throughout the day, especially if you’re sitting for work or other obligations. Moving your body, even in these subtle ways, throughout the day is a great way to ensure you’re taking care of your body and all the supportive muscles, tendons, and ligaments that can be forgotten.

For just a few minutes, turn away from everything else to focus on creating a bit more space and grace in your neck. You’ll thank yourself later!
